Flowers, time, pva. Prelim / research / testers. Fascination with nature and what it does…. Pressing the flowers and the marks on paper through time (reaction) (have also done the same with berries and moulding fruits…also used gelatine and ice as well as pva), the colour run in the pva from the petals and stems, the holding on by storing in pva. Also embracing Wabi Sabi Japanese aesthetic. Future projects on large scale with resin and a ‘reactions’ – of hands, movement, time, smell (using sight and smell senses together…how to make a painting of flowers say….smell of flowers…..food of food, or that which reminds us……) etc………

Also am researching what type of striper would strip back fast enough so painting can be exhibited as covered and slowly shows itself in situ whilst hanging…. A living motion… a living painting.
